Nor-Vet, Nor-Feed International ApS is a Danish company, an independent entity in the Nor-Group established in 2006, located 12 km from both Copenhagen’s City Hall Square and Copenhagen Airport. The company is privately owned and not affiliated with any multinational company.
The company’s mission is for selected third party companies and selected partners to develop natural botanical performance enhancing additives for food-animals’ feeds and drinking water.

The botanical additives are primarily based on active constituents of the types polyphenols and saponins. The polyphenols include flavonoids, among which are the subgroup proanthocyanidins, aka condensed tannins, phenolic acids and stilbenes.
The saponins include both the steroid and the triterpenoid forms, from both traditional and untraditional, cost-effective plant sources, ie. from plants other than Yucca schidigera and Quillaja saponaria. Products from untraditional saponin-containing plants include fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) and licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra). Such propucts are needed on a global basis, not least because of the limited supply of elements from the two traditional plants.
For many years Nor-Feed Int. has developed products in which important active constituents are from Mediterranean spices and medicinal plants, particularly from rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus, aka Rosmarinus officinalis)
Effects of the polyphenols include antioxidative, antibacterial and antiinflammatory ones; effects of the saponins include such as are emulsifying and NH3 binding. Some of the products formulated are according to international literature describing the effects of elements in them also natural stress-reducers, including natural coccidiostats.
The company is particularly active in the field of utilization of elements originating in the by-products, i.e. the co-products, of the production of red wine and the production of olive oil, respectively. Such raw materials include grape pomace, aka grape marc, and extracts of elements of Vitis vinifera, as well as olive leaves and extracts of those and of other elements of Olea europaea.
The company offers to partner up with one or more internationally working parties who also want to utilize these abundant, botanical resources, and invite contacts from such parties.
Nor-Vet, Nor-Feed International ApS collaborates in its activities with well-reputed international universities, research institutions, companies within Nor-Group and with external parties.
